IEMA Sustainability Training

Training for a sustainable future is an essential aspect of our company ethos and business structure, therefore, we are proud to announce that Techbuyer is now home to two registered IEMA (Institue of Environmental Management and Assessment) practitioners.

Our second practitioner, Alan Fisher, completed all requirements, including the management of 3 independent sustainability projects across our business, as well as a final assessment on environmental management. This means that he is now certified to provide IEMA accredited training to our team and other businesses. Alan joins our first accredited trainer, IEMA Full Member and Chartered Environmentalist, Astrid Wynne, in offering training sessions to our internal team, as well as to clients.

Techbuyer is an IEMA accredited training centre, offering courses to companies around the UK, as well as upskilling our own staff in sustainability issues.

The addition of a second practitioner allows us to grow our sustainability training offerings, providing more training sessions and potentially exploring the opportunity for further courses in future.

What is IEMA Training?

IEMA offers training courses and certificates in sustainability concerns and topics, including Net Zero and environmental management. IEMA training courses cover different levels of experience and can be applied to a variety of roles within any industry.

Each course offers an IEMA qualification in its area which can be applied to your current or future roles. All courses we offer have been developed by IEMA and selected by our team to increase sustainability in the business world; through effective training, tailored to your organisation or role, we can make a difference to how companies operate and develop to contribute to a more sustainable future.

Techbuyer’s IEMA Accredited Training Courses

Sustainability Skills for the Workforce

Our Sustainability Skills for the Workforce course is available for all levels of training and knowledge, as well as any role within a company.
We have done this training with all Techbuyer employees to share knowledge throughout the business. As a result of this training, different departments within Techbuyer have been able to find or create innovative solutions to improve environmental impact that may have otherwise been left undiscovered.

For example, within our Goods Out team, employees were able to explore more sustainable packaging solutions and improve the impact of our business from their own department.
