The HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen9 is a 1U enterprise leading server ideal for dense computing and space constrained server workloads. It supports two E5-2600 v3 or v4 processors and has 24 DIMM slots able to support up to 3TB of RAM. Delivering the best performance and expandability packed in a dense 1U chassis, the HPE DL360 Gen9 has exceptional reliability, enhanced performance, always-on availability and provides an impressive amount of power and flexibility.

Hot swap drives minimise downtime

Entry level models of the DL360 Gen9 use the integrated B140i SATA RAID controller or come with an H240ar RAID card. You can upgrade your storage controller to the HPE Flexible Smart Array P440ar/2GB for increased internal scalability and data protection. The HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen9 Server can support SAS, SATA, SAS SSD or NVMe PCIe SSD’s. Depending on the model, a maximum internal storage of up to 153TB of SAS SSD (10x15.3TB) is supported in small form factor models or 48TB of SAS or SATA (4x12TB) in large form factor models. This refurbished CTO server supports hot swap drives enabling you to upgrade or replace drives without having to shut down the server, therefore minimising downtime.

The DL360 Gen9 server supports up to two E5-2600 v3 or v4 processors with 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 or 22 cores per processors and up to 55MB of cache. Intel Virtualisation Technology makes on-demand self-provisioning of services and software-defined orchestration of resources possible, scaling anywhere in a hybrid cloud on-premise or off-premise per specific business needs. Hyper-threading technology can improve your system's ability to do multiple tasks at once. The Intel Xeon E5 processor family is ideal for delivering real-time analytics for your mission-critical business requirements and for big data insights. The E5 CPU family is a highly reliable and scalable family able to keep your data centre working without interruption.

Equipped with 24 DIMM slots, the HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 server supports up to 3TB of LRDIMM (24x128GB) or 768GB of RDIMM (24x32GB). Businesses running high-workload applications such as databases or analytics should consider HPE’s Persistent Memory NVDIMMs. DDR4 memory delivers 50% more bandwidth than DDR3 and is 40% more energy efficient than its predecessor, running at 1.2V-1.4V, therefore reducing running costs. HPE SmartMemory is the ideal choice for HPE servers as it authenticates whether RAM has passed HPE’s rigorous qualification and test process, unlocking certain performance and high efficiency features.
