This module has been manufactured by Hynix, a Korean manufacturer who have developed to be well renowned chipmakers by remaining competitive in the Tech market. Hynix focuses on high capacity, high performance, low power but also premium products. They boast continuous innovation, pushing technological boundaries whilst maintaining stability and growth.

    DDR3 Technology over DDR2 Technology DDR3 is a progressive type of DRAM that has been in operation since 2007. DDR3 memory offers many advancements over DDR2, such as its skill of sending data twice as quick by providing higher bandwidth. It’s prefetch length is also double DDR2 at 8 bits. It provides minimised voltage from 1.8V-1.9V to 1.35V-1.5V, cutting down operating costs across multiple servers, with this model performing at 1.5V.

    A Strong and Solid Performance As well as featuring ECC (Error-Correcting Code)) is a function that permits modules to find and correct data corruption automatically, so reducing the number of possible crashes. This Server Memory module is also registered/ buffered which supports stability in the individual modules with the addition of a register between the DRAM modules which will improve overall system stability.
