    High-density, low-cost server solution

    The Lenovo ThinkSystem SD530 is a two-socket server with an extremely high density and low cost in a half wide, 1U form factor. You can create a high-density 2U four-node (2U4N) architecture for business and cloud workloads by installing four SD530 servers in either the ThinkSystem D2 Enclosure or ThinkSystem Modular Enclosure.

    Maximum performance, low footprint

    The SD530 supports second-generation Intel Xeon Scalable CPUs, 2933MHz RDIMM memory or 2666MHz Optane DC Persistent Memory for maximum performance. Due to its low footprint and inherent density, 2U4N systems have been popular across a range of data centres, from large corporations to service providers, because they are perfect for creating solution-based appliances at a reasonable price. These kinds of solutions are delivered by the Lenovo ThinkSystem SD530 and D2 Enclosure combination.

    Scalability and Performance

    The SD530 server and the enclosures offer numerous features to boost performance, improve scalability, and reduce costs. A single 2U box can house up to four nodes, each of which can support two Intel Xeon processor Scalable family members, as well as up to 16 DIMMs, six drive bays, and two PCIe slots. It is a highly scalable, cost-effective, and dense product. The SD530 supports Intel's second-generation Xeon Scalable processors, which range in price from the most affordable Bronze CPUs to the most powerful Xeon Platinum processors. This server supports CPUs with up to 28 cores, 3.8 GHz core clock rates, and 205W maximum TDP.
