    Upgrade your storage capacity and add large form factor drives to your configuration with drive enclosures. These optional enclosures can be ordered separately for field installation or factory configured in a rack.

    Flexible Options for Your Storage Needs

    The Storage Base products and Upgrade Node Pair come with small form factor drive bays, so no additional drive enclosures are required for the minimum configuration. However, for larger configurations, you can easily attach drive enclosures to meet your storage needs.

    High Capacity and Scalability

    Each drive enclosure includes 24 drive bays, providing ample space for your data storage. The HP 3PAR StoreServ 7200 can support up to five (5) added drive enclosures, while the HP 3PAR StoreServ 7400 can support up to nine (9) added drive enclosures per node pair. Plus, you have the flexibility to mix and match the two drive enclosure types in a single array.
