    The HP NC550m 10Gb 2-Port PCIe x8 Flex-10 Ethernet Adapter is a powerful addition to the C-class 10GbE adapter portfolio. It is designed with the latest Blade Engines 2 controller, delivering superior throughput compared to other adapters in the 10GbE portfolio. This adapter is perfect for virtualized environments and is compatible with all BladeSystem c-Class G6 and select G7 servers.

    Flex-10 Enabled Mezzanine Card

    The NC550m 10Gb 2-port PCle x8 Flex-10 Ethernet Adapter is a Flex-10 enabled mezzanine card, allowing it to be carved into multiple individual Flex NICs. This means that the bandwidth for each Flex NIC can be user-defined, ranging from 100Mb to 10Gb. Each Flex NIC is recognized by the server ROM as an individual NIC, providing a three-fold increase in network server connections over standard NICs.
