It supports RAID levels 0, 1, 10 and 5, and provides PCI 64-bit, 66MHz performance. This intelligent four-port SATA controller is a universal PCI card with a dedicated I/O processor, executing the RAID algorithms. Install this SATA RAID controller option in your entry xSeries SATA based servers for economical, RAID-protected, data-storage solutions. ServeRAID Manager software, used with other IBM ServeRAID controllers, provides investment protection and ease-of-use by minimizing the need for additional training of IT staff and can help lower the total cost of ownership to manage and control large numbers of ServeRAID-protected, xSeries servers deployed throughout the enterprise.
