The HPE ProLiant DL580 Gen10 server supports a variety of storage controllers including S100i, E208i-p, E208e-p, P408i-p, P408e-p and P824i-p. HPE Gen10 Smart Array controllers are engineered to maximise server uptime while enabling flexibility for future business growth by providing exceptional performance and industry-leading data protection. This server only uses small form factor drive bays, supporting SATA HDD, SAS HDD, SATA SSD, SAS SSD and NVMe SSDs, able to be configured to a maximum of 734TB (48x15.3TB) with SAS SSDs. Hot swap solid state drives can be upgraded, cleaned or replaced without having to shut down the server, therefore minimising server downtime.
