The Lenovo Flex System x240 M5 Compute Node is a high-performance server that offers new security, efficiency, and reliability features to handle business-critical workloads. Up to two Intel E5-2600 v3 series processors, with a maximum of 18 cores and memory speeds of 2400 MT/s, are supported by the Lenovo Flex System x240 M5. These processors are engineered to provide enhanced performance without compromising energy efficiency. This CPU family has up to 45 MB L3 memory.
Optimal memory performance
Additionally new, support for TruDDR4 Memory only needs 1.2 V of power, as opposed to 1.35 V and 1.5 V for earlier modules. Each Lenovo Flex System x240 M5 is built to accommodate 24 DIMM slots with a maximum speed of 2133 MHz and up to 1.5 TB of memory. For optimal memory capacity, performance, and reliability, the TruDDR4 Memory range offers RDIMMs and LRDIMMs with sophisticated error correction. Additionally, TruDDR4 Memory can enable memory performance that is better than the norm for the industry. Additionally, the Lenovo Flex System x240 M5 provides a variety of high-performance storage solutions, including mirrored Secure Digital (SD) cards for hypervisors and two 2.5-inch PCIe flash drives.
