    The HP NC550m 10Gb 2-Port PCIe x8 Flex-10 Ethernet Adapter is a powerful addition to the C-class 10GbE adapter portfolio. It is designed with the latest Blade Engines 2 controller, delivering superior throughput compared to other adapters in the 10GbE portfolio. This adapter is perfect for virtualized environments and is compatible with all BladeSystem c-Class G6 and select G7 servers. When paired with our Ethernet switches, it creates a high bandwidth and high performance network environment.

    Flex-10 Enabled Mezzanine Card

    The NC550m 10Gb 2-port PCle x8 Flex-10 Ethernet Adapter is a Flex-10 enabled mezzanine card, allowing it to be carved into multiple individual Flex NICs. Each Flex NIC can have its bandwidth defined by the user, ranging from 100Mb to 10Gb. These individual Flex NICs are recognized by the server ROM as separate NICs, providing a three-fold increase in network server connections compared to standard NICs.
