    This 4GB HP memory module is a dual rank PC2-6400p, running at a speed of 800MHz and with a 6400MB/s bandwidth; it offers a simple, and swift solution to boost your server performance.     Utilise DDR2 Technology

    DDR2 memory represents a significant performance update on DDR. The increase in prefetch length from 2 to 4 offers a 50% increase in the rate at which data is transferred across the data bus. The drop in operating voltage from 2.5v to 1.8 provides a significant improvement in efficiency and consequently, less operating costs across servers.

    Performance and Protection

    The server memory module features ECC (error- correcting code); this identifies and corrects the most common types of internal data corruption. In addition, this HP server memory module is registered (also referred to as buffered) which provides enhanced stability in the individual modules via the addition of a register between the DRAM modules, thereby improving overall system stability.
