This Emulex 8Gb Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapter provides rapid storage and retrieval of critical information, essential when using storage intensive applications such as database, backup/restore, transactions and virtualisation. The 8Gb capacity allows this HBA to deliver twice the I/O performance as the 4Gb HBA, aided by the dual port connection, whilst being backwards compatible with both 4Gb and 2Gb HBAs.
