With two CPU slots supporting E5-2600 v3/v4 processors and 24 DIMM slots supporting up to 1.5TB of LRDIMM, the ML350 Gen9 delivers the perfect balance of extreme performance, complete reliability and huge expandability options. The ML350 Gen9 is engineered to thrive in a range of environments including data centres, growing SMEs and remote branch offices.

Reduce downtime and prevent data loss with HPE’s SmartDrive technology

Entry level models of the ML350 Gen9 server come with an embedded HPE Dynamic Smart Array B140i SATA controller which supports RAID 0, 1, 1+0, and 5. You can upgrade your storage controller to a base or performance model HPE Flexible Smart Array P440ar/2GB that provides enterprise-class storage performance, increased internal scalability and improved server uptime by delivering advanced storage functionality, including online RAID level migration between any RAID levels with flash backed write cache. HPE’s SmartDrive technology offers enhanced diagnostics and displays helping to minimise human error when managing server storage, which can reduce downtime and prevent data loss. Depending on the configuration, the refurbished HPE ML350 Gen9 server supports SAS, SATA, SAS SSD, SATA SSD and NVMe PCIe SSDs. In small form factor models, a maximum internal storage of 184.32TB (48x3.84TB) can be supported and in large form factor models, a maximum of 92.16TB (24x3.84TB) can be reached. This server supports hot swap drives allowing you to upgrade or replace drives without having to power down the server, therefore minimising server downtime.

Take a leap in performance and capability with E5-2600 v3/v4 processors

Equipped with two CPU slots, the HPE ProLiant ML350 Gen9 server supports up to two E5-2600 v3/v4 processors with 4, 6, 8, 10 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 or 22 cores and up to 55MB of cache per processor ranging in frequency from 1.6GHz to 3.5GHz. Intel’s C610 series chipset supports DDR4 memory modules. Designed for architecting next-generation data centres, the E5 family delivers versatility across diverse workloads in the data centre or cloud. CPU virtualisation features enable faithful abstraction of the full prowess of Intel CPU to a virtual machine. All software in the VM can run without any performance or compatibility problems. Hyper-threading technology can also improve the performance of some applications in order to heighten the productivity of your system.

Increase performance, bandwidth and energy efficiency with DDR4 HPE SmartMemory

The ML350 Gen9 server includes 24 DIMM slots supporting a maximum of 1.5TB of LRDIMM (24x64GB) or 768GB of RDIMM (24x32GB) with 12 DIMM slots per processor, 4 channels per processor and 3 DIMMs per channel. HPE SmartMemory is ideal for HPE servers as it authenticates whether RAM has passed HPE’s rigorous qualification and test process, providing an increase of 14% in performance. DDR4 is the most advanced memory format currently available delivering 50% more bandwidth and 40% more energy efficiency than its predecessor, reducing overall running costs.
