    Integrated Services for Small and Medium Business

    The Cisco 2811 Integrated Services Router is part of the Cisco 2800 Integrated Services Router Series, designed to provide high-performance and advanced services for small and medium businesses.

    Enhanced Performance and Modularity

    The Cisco 2811 offers wire-speed performance for concurrent services such as security and voice, as well as support for multiple T1/E1/xDSL WAN rates. With increased performance and modularity, this router provides enhanced investment protection for businesses.

    Increased Density and Flexibility

    The Cisco 2811 features four High-Speed WAN Interface Card Slots and an Enhanced Network Module Slot, allowing for increased density and flexibility. It also supports over 90 existing and new modules, including AIMs, NMs, WICs, VWICs, and VICs.

    Advanced Security Features

    The Cisco 2811 offers on-board encryption and support for up to 1500 VPN tunnels with the AIM-EPII-PLUS Module. It also includes antivirus defense through Network Admission Control (NAC), intrusion prevention, and stateful Cisco IOS Firewall support.

    Voice Capabilities

    In addition to its advanced security features, the Cisco 2811 also supports analog and digital voice calls. It offers optional voice mail support and can be configured for local call processing with Cisco CallManager Express (Cisco CME) for up to 36 IP phones. It also supports Survivable Remote Site Telephony for local call processing in small enterprise branch offices.
