In The Press: Techbuyer is featured by the Leader's Council

As a provider of sustainable IT solutions, we work hard to help organisations around the world contribute to a more eco-friendly IT industry. Over the past few years, we have seen a shift in interest towards sustainability for businesses and communities around the world. As a result, many organisations and individuals are trying to be more sustainable with their technology, including their purchasing and disposal habits.

2021 saw Techbuyer continue to make headway in terms of our own sustainability goals, as well as helping others to do the same. As a result, we were thrilled to have been named Most Sustainable Organisation of the Year at the UK IT Industry Awards. This win has been highlighted by the Leader’s Council who have identified Techbuyer as a company “at the forefront of driving forward sustainable operations in the UK IT industry.”

The Leader’s Council is an organisation that brings together influential figures; they champion and celebrate the achievements of businesses and leaders throughout the UK and Ireland. The council, chaired by former Home Secretary and Education Secretary, Lord Blunkett, works to highlight and promote leaders who demonstrate innovation and empowerment around the country.

The Leader’s Council has published a feature on Techbuyer, as well as our sister company, Interact, and the contributions we have made to support the creation of a more eco-friendly data centre industry and IT sector globally.  We are pleased to be recognised for our sustainability focus and message.
