Providing Mission-Critical IT Hardware and Equipment for the NHS – National Health Executive

Over the past few weeks, we have witnessed the healthcare sector face a surge in demand. As an IT company that supplies NHS trusts with data centre solutions, we wanted to do something to help. Shortly after lockdown was announced, we launched our free IT rentals service for the NHS, and we are currently supplying a range of server, storage and networking solutions for NHS trusts, hospitals and practices. Recently we wrote about these businesses changes for the NHE (National Health Executive), which went out in their e-newsletter and can also be viewed on the NHE website.

Article summary:

  • We have seen a demand for refurbished laptops as companies tackle the logistics of remote working. Locally, we have provided laptops for doctor’s practices so that they could enable remote access between patients and doctors, and free up beds in hospital.
  • Configure-to-Order servers have also been popular; last week we assembled Dell CTO servers and delivered them next day to an NHS trust.
  • Our wide range of stock has meant we have been able to provide other equipment too. We have supplied a hospital with webcams, so that patients in ICU beds can keep in touch with loved ones at this difficult and often frightening time.
