Techbuyer Chosen to Represent UK Technology Sector in the 2017 Parliamentary Review
Techbuyer are delighted to have been chosen as a representative of the UK’s technology sector in the influential 2017 Parliamentary Review in recognition of our growth within the industry and our position as a global leader in our specific field – the buying, refurbishing and resale of computer data centre equipment.
What is the Parliamentary Review?
The Parliamentary Review is a publication which aims to raise standards through showcasing best practice to the UK’s leading officials. Combining political commentary from the BBC’s Andrew Neil with insight from Secretary of State Karen Bradley MP and a foreword by the Prime Minister Theresa May, The Parliamentary Review demonstrates how sector leaders have responded to challenges in the political and economic environment.
Kevin Towers Managing Director said of the company’s inclusion:
“I’m extremely proud of our inclusion in the 2017 Technology Parliamentary Review, which reflects the hard work and dedication shown by all of our staff worldwide. In the last twelve months, we have cemented our position as a global leader in the purchasing, refurbishing and sale of used IT data centre hardware, and have also broadened our portfolio to include software and service offerings in cyber security and data protection.”
Invited to the House of Commons
Techbuyer IT gurus Rich Kenny and James Lord visited London this week to attend the Parliamentary Review event at the Terrace Pavilion in the Houses of Commons. They spoke to leading innovators in the market, listened to influential speakers and left with some exciting business leads. The event confirmed that the technology industry has been more recession-proof than many other industries and will continue to grow in the future.
