Our government backed accreditations, qualifications and partnerships support the principles we’ve been working towards since the beginning: quality, security and environmental management. We constantly check the condition of the products we refurbish and sell in order to ensure that our customers only receive the highest quality goods whilst continuously improving the services we offer. These internationally recognised accreditations, qualifications and partnerships aim to give assurance to current and future customers that all aspect of the way we work is constantly assessed and improved.


ADISA

ADISA is an industry accreditation scheme for companies who provide IT Asset Disposal services. The ADISA audit process is multi-layered including full audits, unannounced operational audits and forensic audits. This approach ensures ADISA certified companies continuously maintain the highest standards. There are hundreds of companies who claim to provide a secure ITAD (Information Technology Asset Disposition) service, yet only 40 companies have passed the rigorous ADISA audits. Our ISO 14001 accreditation establishes Techbuyer as a credible and ethical supplier, operating to a very high degree environmentally. Our business model of refurbishing and re-deployment is already much more environmentally conscious than the paradigm of scrapping old equipment and buying new, but this accreditation confirms that our business ethos reaches right through every department and process within the organisation.

R2v3 Certified

Techbuyer is an R2v3 Standard (Responsible Recycling) certified company which means that our IT electronics are ethically recycled with full transparency to our customers. We are one of the 11 companies in the UK and 28 in the whole of Europe that are R2v3 certified and take pride in the environmental responsibility of our business. The certification also demonstrates that all end-of-life equipment is recycled in safe conditions and to the highest security standards.


EcoVadis

EcoVadis is the world’s most trusted business sustainability rating and assesses the performance of your company against ESG risk and compliance, sustainability goals and value chain. Techbuyer has received a silver rating from EcoVadis for our efforts in managing environmental impact and sustainability. Ecovadis explores the impact of your own business, as well as analysing the impact of your supply chain to develop a complete picture of how your organisation performs. As sustainability grows in importance within the business world, we are finding that more and more of our suppliers are requesting sustainability accreditations and scorecards, such as EcoVadis, making this an important accreditation for our business. We will continue to work towards a gold rating for EcoVadis by improving our own business and improving the quality of our supply chain.


FSQS

Techbuyer is a registered FSQS supplier; this framework is widely recognised within the financial sector and highlights that we have demonstrated our commitment to the credentials and standards of the industry. With this accreditation, we can supply the financial sector with sustainable IT solutions that meet their demands across IT procurement, maintenance and disposal.


Crown Commercial Service

Techbuyer has been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service's RM6098 – Technology and Associated Services 2 agreement. The CCS supplier framework is the largest public procurement organisation in the UK that helps thousands of public sector buyers buy what they need when they need it. CCS suppliers comply with public sector procurement regulations, including those relating to sustainability.


Cyber Essentials

This government backed scheme is in place to help protect businesses against cyber attacks of any shape and size. Certification for this scheme ensures that our defences against cyber crime through technical controls in our system. Data security, for ourselves and for our clients, is paramount and so we take measures to ensure that our systems are protected.
