Techbuyer Partners 'Digital Access For All' Charity Launch – The DCA
As lockdown 3 begins and schools close, there is a digital gap being felt by households across the UK. Around 1.5 million children do not have access to digital devices or to the internet, which is having a negative impact on their education.
To provide quality technology to young pupils, a new initiative of Digital Access For All has begun. This will ensure that devices are bought, donated and distributed to disadvantaged households across the UK. Techbuyer is partnering this new initiative to help. Read the full press release here, as shared by the DCA.
- Digital Access For All will process corporate donations through the ADISA Marketplace, and will ensure that grade A equipment reaches families in need.
- “ADISA is known throughout our industry as the gold standard for compliance and best practice so we knew that the project would be well run and deliver the most value for people who need it the most. We are very proud at Techbuyer to have been asked to be a part of this” Mick Payne, Techbuyer Managing Director.
- “Donating companies can be assured of the highest level of integrity and standards, whilst being able to help directly in enabling disconnected children and families to get online,” – Paul Finnis, CEO of Learning Foundation and Digital Access for All.
