Techbuyer Make the World Better with a Sweater this Christmas Jumper Day

On the 14th December 2018, Techbuyer employees wore their liveliest, most fabulous Christmas jumpers to raise money for Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day.

There were some great Mrs Claus and Christmas tree dresses, lots of flashing lights and as always, some slightly rude jumpers! Take a look at our Christmas Jumper Day Facebook album for some of the best photos from the day.

Christmas Jumper Day organiser Bryony said, “We’re so grateful for everyone that has taken part in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day and can’t thank the Techbuyer team enough for their heroic fundraising efforts! Just £2 of what they have raised could pay for antibiotics for five children suffering from pneumonia, one of the biggest killers of vulnerable children. With just small donations like these, we can give children the chance to be children again.’’

Save the Children fights every single day for children’s futures. They make sure they are protected and have the chance to learn and fulfil their potential because every child should get to make their mark on the world and build a better future for us all.

Save the Children are hoping that this fantastic fundraiser, which last year raised over £4 million for vulnerable children around the world, will be bigger and sillier than ever before as schools, homes and offices across the country ditch their day-to-day dress and don their daftest, most wonderful woollies for the seventh Christmas Jumper Day.
