Techbuyer’s ITAD Service becomes ADISA Accredited

We are pleased to announce that Techbuyer's ITAD service has passed the stringent ADISA requirements with Merit!

Our ITAD (Information Technology Asset Disposition) service has been conducted to ADISA (Asset Disposal and Information Security Alliance) standards for some time now, but only recently had a certified auditor visit our UK facility to check our work against the extremely strict ADISA standards.

What is ADISA?

ADISA (Asset Disposal and Information Security Alliance) is an industry accreditation scheme for companies who provide IT Asset Disposal services. The audit process is multi-layered including full audits, unannounced operational audits and forensic audits. What does ADISA certification mean for our customers?

Commenting on the recent ADISA certification, Techbuyer’s Head of ITAD, Danny McShane said that “There are over 600 companies who offer ITAD services in the UK, but only 40 of them have passed the strict ADISA audits which include 112 essential criteria before ADISA award companies with a pass mark. Techbuyer passing with merit also means we have passed many of the 80 further criteria which are classed as desirable.”

ADISA certification means that our customers can be completely confident in Techbuyer’s ability to provide a safe and secure IT asset disposition service. During our ITAD process, vehicles are GPS tracked at all times, thorough asset registers are signed off, all data-bearing assets have their data erased and our secure site is kept behind locked gates with 24 hour CCTV.
