Techbuyer Recruiting for an Innovative Project!

Techbuyer and the University of East London are recruiting for our exciting Innovate UK funded project beginning in January. Working in partnership with the foremost academics in the field, the two-year programme is a chance for a bright graduate student to lead the way in data centre modelling capabilities that drive the circular economy and green agenda. We are currently looking for the best and brightest system analysts/ software developers to join us for an interview in the New Year.

InnovateUK are coordinating this government programme known as a “Knowledge Transfer Partnership” (KTP) in order to grow graduate talent in a business environment. It offers graduates and postgraduates project leadership opportunities which deliver a high level of innovation and commercial impact. Techbuyer’s KTP with the University of East London pairs the academic supervision of Rabih Bashroush, an international authority in the field of Cloud and Data Centre Energy Efficiency with one of the fastest growing hardware suppliers in the UK.

Employed by the University, the KTP associate chosen for the project will work at our head office in Harrogate with the support of successful entrepreneur Kevin Towers and technical project expert Rich Kenny. As the company is growing in the UK and internationally, the KTP also has the potential to benefit customers in North America, Asia Pacific and across Europe.

Aside from the experience, the additional benefits to the associate are significant. During the fixed term paid two year contract, they will have the opportunity to write research papers and develop new business opportunities. In addition to these great additions to their CV, they receive additional funding they can allocate towards their own career progression. The project leadership position comes with a bespoke £4,000 training and development budget. Innovate UK also provide an additional two week residential leadership and management course worth in excess of £10,000. There is also the possibility of long-term employment with Techbuyer at the end of the contract.
